So a while back I posted a question on Facebook: What is the best brand of coconut butter out there? Every single answer came back Artisana! So I contacted the company to see if I could do a review. They sent me a lovely package of the coconut butter, a jar of their new nut/seed butter Cashini and a bunch of single serving packages of every nut butter, coconut butter and coconut oil they carry- including the Cacao Bliss! These products are yummy! I was excited to hear about them.. I love coconut and know all of the amazing health benefits of coconut. These products are gluten free and vegan. In April I got meet up with one of the employees of Cafe Gratitude at Whole Foods Market in Sacramento. WF’s was hosting a Raw Food event. We love coconut oil! We use it in raw food treats and add it to our smoothies. It contains a medium chain fatty acid that is very good for you. Tropical traditions coconut oil is very good. I used it primarily in my smoothies. I figure if a coconut is going to be good- in a smoothie is where it will shine! It did. It added a wonderful coconuty flavor to my smoothies- which we love.
