Check out Lulu’s Raw Vegan Chocolates and Body butter. My husband had stomach surgery shortly after I received this package. I have been using the body butter on his incision- it has been very soothing on it. I love to have my husband massage it into my aching shoulders. I carry a lot of stress in my shoulders- it feels wonderful!

Do love cheesecake?? I love cheesecake.. Though I often found that I was sick of it before getting to the last bite- it was always too sweet. I never imagined that I would ever again eat cheesecake now that I am vegan and eating a primarily raw diet. Boy was I wrong! Earth Cafe makes an amazing cheesecake- completely raw and completely vegan! I am not lying to you when I say that it is the best cheesecake I have ever eaten! It is amazing! They sent me 6 different flavors and all of them rocked! I even saved half of each slice to take with me to a vegan conference I was cooking at. I shared them with a couple of others who eat a high raw diet like me and a few others who are vegan. All of them were blown away at how good the cheesecake was and that fact that it was raw vegan. We were all sharing bites with each other, trying to figure out which flavor we liked best. I am happy to report that every flavor was loved and it was hard to decide which was our favorite. We tried lemon, raspberry, cherry, peach, blueberry and carob.
From what I understand- the price per slice is comparable to buying a slice of cheesecake when you go out to eat. At the Cheesecake Factory a whole cheesecake is around $40 which is more than getting a whole cheesecake from Earth Cafe ($34.99)- not to mention it is so much healthier for you and gluten free. You have got to try this cheesecake!!!

I received a phone call from my daughter. I was on my way to pick up a prescription for my husband. He was being released from the hospital after having had emergency surgery to repair a hernia in his diaphragm. I had spent 5 days at the hospital and I was exhausted. So I get a phone call from my daughter who is at home holding down the fort. She says I have a package from Pure Market Express.. I had forgotten it was to arrive that day. She tells me that there is lasagna, chocolate cheesecake, jalapeno poppers and pepperoni bites.. Yum! Dinner! Oh, did I forget to mention that all of the food is raw and vegan?? Entrees, appetizers, pantry items, desserts, breakfast, lunch and dinner.. So many amazing looking eats!

I have tried several brands of raw nori sheets. I am not a fan of sushi.. I do know that sea vegetables are very good for you and we should try to get them into our diet. So I tried California rolls and raw vegan sushi.. Neither really appealed to me because of the strong flavor of the nori sheet. I am happy to report that I have found a nori sheet that is milder in flavor. (more…)
