This is what Jeff had for breakfast. Tofu scramble with
soysage from
Dixie Diner and farm fresh tomatoes.
Dixie Diner is becoming one our favorite companies.
This
soysage tastes a lot like sausage. Hubby loved it and said it tastes just like sausage just not greasy, I would prefer it was a bit spicier with some fennel maybe. But I remedied that easily as I keep fennel in the house at all times and plenty of crushed red peppers. The bag made a lot, the kids at some straight from the pan and I have a good sized container for pasta tomorrow. It was easy to prepare, low in fat and no strange ingredients. The often runĀ free shipping special on orders more than $39.95. So email them to see if a shipping special is running or will be running soon.
The texture on the sausage was very good and they would be perfect on pizza! Which I think I will save some for just that! Bob from Dixie Diner said that they keep the sausage on the milder side for those who don’t like spicy sausage- you can always add but you can’t take away- I tell my daughter that all the time when she is cooking.
