I am excited about this product. I am not a big eggplant fan but my hubby is. So I was very excited to receive some coupons to try this product by Dominex Eggplant. They have 4 products but only 2 are vegan. I was hoping to find the eggplant burger but Whole Foods didn’t have it. So I grabbed just one box of the eggplant cutlets. Didn’t want to get more- in case hubby didn’t like it. Well.. Hubby has declared that these cutlets must be in the freezer at all times! He loved it. He said they were awesome plain- like fried zucchini. With a marinara dip would have been wonderful. He loved them on his sandwich. Toasted whole wheat sourdough and vegenaise with some sriracha hot sauce mixed in. So thank you Dominex! We have a winner.
There are no transfats, low in fat and made with only all natural ingredients. The burgers look delicious and I hope to find some to sample one day. I will have to ask Whole Foods if they plan on carrying them. They also have meatballs and Parm bites but both contain dairy. Click on any of the pictures to go to their website.
