This week I watched 2 video demonstrations from
Hot Chefs, Cool Kitchen. The teacher for these demo’s was
Cherie Soria. I was so impressed by her teaching skills that I can’t wait to learn more from her again. I wish I could afford to go to Living Light Culinary Institute and take her raw chef course. I would be in raw food heaven!
Demo #1 was for Teriyaki Glazed Cashew Sesame Tofu.. The end result looked absolutely amazing. I had heard of making tofu out of nuts but had never seen it being made before. It truly looks like tofu. In this demo you will learn about using irish moss and agar agar. I have heard of these 2 ingredients and have been wanting to learn more about them. I learned some very valuable information and techniques in this demonstration.
Jenny Cornbleet was the host and was full of awesome questions which Cherie was able to answer and elaborate upon.
Demo #2 was for Tomato Macadamia Cheese Tart with a Basil Crust. This tart looked so good. I can’t wait to make this. Heirloom tomatoes were used and Cherie said that this tart is actually best with heirloom tomatoes during their season- so this summer you can guarantee I will be making this tart. It would be wonderful for summer entertaining. I can’t emphasize enough Cherie is an amazing teacher! She is so full of information.
Nomi Shannon was the host for this demonstration.
If you are looking to expand your raw chef skills you will not be disappointed with investing in this program. Click
