Rawsome! by Brigitte Mars
Rawsome! Maximizing health, energy, and culinary delight with the raw foods diet by Brigitte Mars published by Basic Health Publications. I am very pleased with this book and would recommend it to anyone. She covers all of the basic information needed to get you started yet there is a lot for someone who has been following the raw food diet for a while. The recipes all look amazing, I have dog-eared many of them to try right away.
I loved chapters 6 and 7. It is important to be prepared for any diet to be successful. Chapter 6 covers how to travel, dine out, and have have a dinner party all while staying raw. I learned a lot from chapter 7, using raw foods for healing. I am always recommending to friends and family to go raw while sick- give your body some time to rest. This chapter provided more information for me to share with others! Thanks Brigitte for a great book.
