Tacos with Ground Beef Not! Dixie Diner
Another great meal thanks to Dixie Diner‘s vegan products. This time it was their product Ground Beef Not! We seasoned it with taco seasonings. Used all the typical toppings- tomatoes, lettuce, cabbage leaves (to line the crunchy taco shells), onions and a avocado sauce made with avocados, salsa, vegenaise, lime juice and salt. I also served whole wheat tortillas and refried beans for those who wanted burittos. All I can say is yum! All the kids loved it- we are talking teens here. One of which did not eat vegan before a week ago. The 5 year old ate the “meat” plain in a taco shell- 3 of them actually. The hubs loved it as well. Thank you Dixie Diner!

Each 1/2 cup of dry ground beef not! crumbles is only 140 calories and 1.5 grams of fat. You have to reconstitute it- so you can actually eat more than 1/2 cup for those calories and fat grams.
